How are you fellow done-rs? What have you been up to? Me? I have been creating or crafting or creatively crafting. I have been on you tube AGAIN. I was watching people do art journals. They layer paints and inks and use stencils and sponges and paper and…..
So I decided I would try it by making a background for a couple of scrapbook pages. In my ever attempt to get rid of stuff I have found loose pictures. They needed a place to go. So I have been doing a scrapbook page each day till I get these pics put up. Here is a sample of a page I did today. You all have seen these pics of my best friend Brenda, they were in the book I made for her sister Linda. These are the original photos. So I inked and stenciled and stamped and painted and this is what happened:
It was so much fun. Kind of like finger painting when you were a kid. You just pile on without rhyme or reason. Nothing perfect and it still looks good. I LOVE to try new things and be creative.

It’s coming right along! I might actually finish this(well if I can get it done before my three-month iamdonewitthat limit is up).

That looks great! I haven’t scrap booked in years but I make cards and do things similar with water and ink pads… Looks great my friend!

WOW!!! 65 degrees when I got up Friday morning! Took trash out to the garage about 10 am & didn’t come back inside until 2 pm! Opened the garage doors, trying to get rid of some of the humidity that had built up in there. Took down & put away the Christmas lights from the front bushes & lawn. Straightened & swept out garage. I had pulled planters this fall into the garage & saw where the vinca vines & geraniums were still alive. (Not healthy by any means, but alive!) Transplanted them to go inside by the south door/window of the sunroom. We’ll see…

The closest I’ve come lately to creating was in my mind at church Sunday when some verses were read while I stared at a cool looking board on the floor. I started seeing a stormy sky that changed to a calm sunset. It went with the verses. I plan to do a watercolor of that.
